SAP PM is an excellent tool for the management and execution all of the steps related to your work management process. As you execute each of these steps you gather a large amount of reliability and cost data that can be SILO'd within the transaction(s) with which it was initially gathered. Examples of these are:

Work initiation: What, where, when and type of failure
Work approval: Priority, time frame, estimate
Work planning: Scope, planned labor, planned materials, planned services, time fame
Work execution: Actual labor, actual materials, actual services, progress, completion dates
Work completion: Failing component, cause of failure, resolution

Underpinning the process are key master data elements which provide information such as; criticality, technical object type, manufacturer, equipment unit, system and sub system.

SAP Savants EqRCM is a sophisticated, embedded, SAP transaction that unifies this data into a single work area providing comprehensive reporting, analysis and even verification of the accuracy of the data entered. Using standard SAP selection criteria you specify the scope of equipment, area and time frame and EqRCM will get all of the aforementioned data for each maintenance event including the dates that system and user statuses where set.

EqRCM also has innovative cross tab functionality allowing the user to select multiple dimensions and measures for detailed analysis. This unique feature is fully integrated into the SAP front end negating the need to store data off line or to export it to third party tools for further analysis.

You can actually use EqRCM to analyse and report on the quality/completeness of your maintenance event data. For example, notifications for specific equipment types above a specified dollar value that have no history.

SAP Savants **EqRCM** is a delivered SAP transaction that resides within your SAP system. Data Selection is via the standard selection screen and the report output is via familiar ALVs that contain extended cross tab reporting functionality

**EqRCMs** cross tab functionality let's you specify up to five concurrent dimensions and measures. These are presented in a tree format for easy navigation. Double clicking on a measure (value) will filter the contributing maintenance event data.

Export to Excel for further analysis, formatting or emailing.
